Pharella… the UK Sensation

19-year-old singer/songwriter, Pharella from the Uk set to hit the big time very soon. Known as the girl version of Pharrell Williams, Pharella is now ready with her new material to show you what she’s got.

Not only has Pharella been busy working hard in the studio this year with amazing producers such as Alan Glass, who has worked with the likes of Aretha Franklin and George Benson. But she has also kept busy performing all around London in venues like the famous Jazz cafe.

Last year Pharella went on her first ever school tour, which lead her to go all around the UK. Due to the mass response she will be back on the road this coming year, hitting places like Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and London.

In 2010, Pharella won a phenomenal competition with London’s Top Radio station “Capital FM” called the Be a star competition, which gave her the chance to star in her very own Music video shot by Capital themselves and she got the amazing opportunity to go on stage at the o2 arena to announce her video in front of 32,000 people over two nights.

But it doesn’t stop there. From a young age Pharella has always been engaged in music. She started writing and recording in the studio age 11 and this is when she found her love for song writing. In addition, Pharella seeked out for a piano teacher and vocal coach age 7.

Attending top stage schools such as Sylvia Young Theatre School for several years, Pharella was ready to audition for one of the UK’s best Music Schools “The Brit School For Performing Arts”, where the likes of Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and Adele to name a few. After Thousands of applicants from all around England Pharella was offered one of 30 placements in the Music strand. She made sure she made good use of her time at the school, devoting everything into her work, resulting in her being the first ever person to graduate with triple distinction star (3 A*) in every subject.

Pharella also enjoys getting involved with charities and in early 2014 was asked to be part of ‘Save The Children Foundation’ track, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, which raised money for poverty around the world. Prior to this Pharella has performed raising money for brain tumour charities and many more.

Pharella was the 2014 winner of another major UK Radio station, competition (Kiss FM). Which lead to her performing at one of their biggest events in partnership with London’s top shopping Mall “Westfield’s”. Now, Pharella is working on her own music and has also started song writing for other Artists.

In September 2014, Pharella performed at the Chinese Shopping festival in Guangzhou. She hopes to return to China in 2015 with her new material.
